Rosehip Extract

Rosehips are a naturally rich source of polyphenols, anthocyanidins and vitamin C. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones and cartilage. It also contributes to the normal function of the immune system and is an antioxidant which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Rosehips, or more commonly ‘Dog Rose’, became appreciated in Britain under the blockade of the Second World War when the population was put to work to collect them as a valuable vitamin source. The traditional uses of rose hips (Rosa canina) have since included immune system support, wound healing, maintenance of healthy and flexible joints, and digestive support.

The rosehip extract in this supplement has been standardised to ensure an effective dose in every capsule.
