What is Lemon Balm Tincture?

Lemon balm tincture is an organically certified liquid food supplement produced using an extract from Melissa officinalis in an organic rye alcohol base to preserve the natural actives.


How is Viridian Lemon Balm Tincture made?

Viridian’s Lemon Balm Tincture is produced using the leaves of fresh organic lemon balm as opposed to dried herbs to maintain/preserve the active components. This is then left to steep in organic alcohol in order to produce an extract of the herb.


Does it contain any artificial colours?

Viridian’s Lemon Balm Tincture, along with our other supplements contain 100% active ingredients and no binders or fillers. The supplements are non-GM, non-irradiated with no added sugars, artificial colours or artificial flavourings. They are palm-oil free and never-animal tested, making them as pure as they can be.


Is Viridian’s Lemon Balm Tincture natural?

Yes, it is produced naturally with the lemon balm grown in the UK and hand-picked for processing into a tincture. No chemicals or chemical processes are used to make the Lemon Balm Tincture.


How much should I take?

The recommended intake is between 15 and 30 drops one to three times daily. The research suggests a dose of 60 drops daily has shown to have beneficial results.


When during the day should I take Lemon Balm Tincture?

Organic lemon balm tincture can be taken any time throughout the day.


When will I start to see/feel results?

Time to perceived benefits is different for each person and is also dependent on the health outcome it is being used for. In some cases, benefits are seen in as little as one hour, other areas of health may require a longer duration of supplementation before improvements are noted. How long can I take Lemon Balm Tincture for?

Lemon balm tincture can be taken long term with no known issues.


How is best to take Lemon Balm Tincture?

Simply drop between 15 and 30 drops into cold water or cool drink of your choice.


Can I take too much?

The recommended intake is between 15 – 30 drops up to three times daily. We would not advise consuming more of this daily.


How should I store Lemon Balm Tincture?

As with most Viridian capsule supplements, store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Use by the best before date shown on the label.


Is it suitable for vegans?

Yes this product is suitable for vegans.


Can I take Lemon Balm Tincture alongside other supplements?

Can I take Lemon Balm Tincture during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

It is not recommended to take the lemon balm tincture during pregnancy or lactation.
